Your privacy is paramount. Nuely (the "App") is designed to minimize the collection of personal data. The App helps you track and understand your recovery, training strain, sleep, nutrition, intermittent fasting, and related wellness metrics. Most of your data is processed and stored locally on your device; certain data is transmitted to necessary third-party services to deliver specific functionalities (AI analysis and coaching, and subscription management), as described below.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Nuely does not collect, store, or share any personal identifying information (PII) from its users, such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal data to use the App's core features.

2. Local Data Storage and User Input

Any personal or health-related data you input into the App, or that the App computes from your data, is stored exclusively locally on your device and is not transmitted to our external servers (except as described in Section 3 when you use AI or subscription features). This includes:

• Recovery, Daily Strain, and Sleep Performance scores computed on your device
• Fasting schedules and history
• Nutrition, calorie, and macro logs
• Water intake and logs
• Weight logs, BMI, and body measurements
• Activity, sleep, and other metrics synced from Apple Health (see Section 5)

This local data remains under your control and is essential for the App's functionality.

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

The App integrates with the following third-party services to provide specific functionalities. Data is shared only to the extent necessary for these specific functions:

A. AI Analysis and Coaching (OpenAI / Aiproxy)

The App uses AI for two purposes, both routed through a secure proxy layer (Aiproxy) to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI):

• AI Photo Scan (food): When you use the AI Photo Scan feature, the image (photo) of the meal you select and any accompanying text prompt are sent to OpenAI to return calculated nutritional values (calories, protein, carbs, fat).
• AI Coaching and Insights: When you use AI coaching or insight features, your health and activity metrics (such as heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, and your Recovery, Strain, and Sleep scores) and relevant nutrition data are sent to OpenAI to generate personalized suggestions. The App does not send your name, email, or any account identifier with this data, because it does not collect them. The data is processed by OpenAI under its own privacy policy.
