1. Introduction

Welcome to FyshID, developed by Evgenii Pestrev. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our iOS application and related services.

2. Information We Collect

• No personal data storage: We do not store personal information or user inputs on our own servers.
• Photo Processing: When you identify or analyze a fish, your photos are securely transmitted to third-party AI services (OpenAI) via Firebase Functions.
• Analytics: We use TelemetryDeck to gather anonymous usage statistics (e.g., screen views, performance metrics). TelemetryDeck does not collect personal data.
• In-app purchases: Subscriber transactions are handled by RevenueCat and Apple In-App Purchase. We receive only non-identifiable receipts required to validate purchases.

3. Fish & Face Data

FyshID analyzes fish, not people. We do not perform facial recognition, but photos may incidentally include faces. Such images are only sent to OpenAI for the brief time needed to generate results and are not retained by FyshID.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To identify fish and provide fishing-related insights.
• To maintain and improve FyshID (via anonymous analytics).
• To validate and manage subscriptions.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share data only as needed to provide the service:

• OpenAI – fish recognition & insight generation

• RevenueCat & Apple – purchase validation

• TelemetryDeck – anonymous analytics

  We never sell your data.
