TinyWeek is developed by Evgenii Pestrev. Privacy questions: [email protected].
TinyWeek does not require an account, show ads, use cross-app tracking, or include a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. The pregnancy profile, journal, photos, dates, checklists, counters, and Ask AI history are stored locally on your iPhone. The app does not operate an account database or app-level cloud sync.
This does not mean that nothing ever leaves the device: an Ask AI request is sent to AIProxy and OpenAI; Apple and RevenueCat process purchase information; you may opt in to Apple Health or choose to export/share data.
Local data can include the due date or last period date, optional baby nickname and preferences, journal text, moods, symptoms, weight, appointments, photos, checklist state, kick and contraction sessions, notification settings, and saved AI conversations. Widgets and Live Activity receive a minimal on-device App Group snapshot. Local notifications are scheduled on your device. iCloud or computer device backups may include app data according to your Apple backup settings; those backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings.
Ask AI answers are generated by OpenAI, a third-party AI service. Before your first question leaves your device, TinyWeek shows you what will be sent and who receives it, and asks for your permission. Nothing is sent unless you tap Allow. You can withdraw permission at any time in Settings → AI data sharing; after that, nothing is sent until you allow it again.
What is sent: the text of your question; up to six recent messages of the current conversation; the app language; and, only if "Include my week number" is on, your pregnancy week and trimester or approximate weeks postpartum. Your name, exact due date, journal, photos and Apple Health data are never sent. Text you type may itself contain personal or health details, so share only what you want processed.
How it is collected: only when you actively submit a question in Ask AI, after you have given permission. Urgent and medication-dose questions that the app recognizes on your device are answered locally and are not sent. This filter cannot catch every case.
How it is used: only to generate the answer to your question. It is not used for advertising, profiling or tracking, and it is not sold. TinyWeek does not store your questions on its own servers. Your conversation history stays on your device.
Who receives it: the request goes to AIProxy, a relay that protects our API key and uses Apple's DeviceCheck to confirm the request comes from a genuine copy of the app. AIProxy forwards it to OpenAI, which generates the answer. OpenAI may keep API requests for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. It does not use API data to train its models. See AIProxy's privacy policy and OpenAI's API data usage policies.
AI answers are educational and are not medical advice.
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment details. RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement information and a pseudonymous app user identifier to determine Premium access. TinyWeek does not send pregnancy profile, journal, or HealthKit data to RevenueCat. We do not receive your card number. Apple and RevenueCat may keep transaction records under their own policies.
We share personal data only with these service providers, and only for the features described above:
