Welcome to ToonThis, developed by Evgenii Pestrev. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our iOS application and related services.

Information We Collect

We do not collect or store any personal information or user inputs on our servers.
When you use the image generation feature, your photos are sent directly to third-party AI services (OpenAI and Google Gemini) for processing. These services may handle your data according to their own privacy policies.
We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., app interactions and performance metrics) to improve the app and user experience. No personal information is collected or shared through TelemetryDeck.

Face Data

When you use the image generation feature, the photos you provide may contain images of faces. ToonThis does not perform any face detection or extract face data from your photos. The photos are sent directly to third-party AI services (OpenAI and Google Gemini) via a Firebase function for processing to generate styled images. These third-party services may use face data contained within the photos as part of their image processing algorithms. However, ToonThis does not collect, store, or retain any face data. The photos are used only momentarily during processing and are not stored by us or, to the best of our knowledge, by the third-party services beyond the processing task.

How We Use Your Information

We do not use or store your photos. They are solely processed by the third-party AI services to generate styled images. The processing occurs through a Firebase function, which securely transmits your photos to OpenAI or Google Gemini for the sole purpose of applying the requested image effects.

Sharing Your Information

Your photos are shared with OpenAI and Google Gemini for processing via a Firebase function.
We do not sell or share your information with any other third parties, except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., processing in-app purchases through RevenueCat).

Data Retention

We do not retain any user data, including photos or face data. Photos are processed momentarily by third-party services and are not stored by ToonThis or, to our understanding, by OpenAI or Google Gemini beyond the completion of the processing task.
